Mulah Adventures

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Clear cancellation, amendment and refund guidance for Mulah Adventures tours, transfers, accommodation and other travel services.

Scope

This policy applies to Mulah Adventures arrangements unless a quotation, supplier confirmation or written booking document states different terms. Supplier-specific terms may be stricter, especially during peak periods or where a service is fully non-refundable. We will identify known special conditions before confirmation wherever reasonably possible.

Cancellation by the client

Cancellation requests must be made in writing by email. The effective date is the date we receive the request. Unless different terms are stated in the confirmed itinerary, the following guide applies to the total tour cost: more than 30 days before commencement, 30%; 30 to 15 days, 50%; 14 to 7 days, 75%; and within 6 days, 100%. Deposits are applied against the applicable cancellation charge. Any refundable balance is returned after supplier confirmations and deductions have been completed.

Peak periods and non-refundable services

Hotels, lodges, camps, flights, park arrangements, events and other suppliers may impose non-refundable deposits or full charges, particularly over Christmas, New Year, school holidays, migration periods and special events. In those cases, the applicable supplier charge may be up to 100% even when cancellation is made earlier. The specific confirmed booking terms take priority.

Amendments

We will try to accommodate changes to dates, names, destinations, accommodation, vehicle type or traveller numbers. Amendments depend on availability and may result in rebooking fees, fare differences, supplier penalties, additional transport or revised park and accommodation charges. We will explain these costs before proceeding where possible.

No-shows and unused services

No refund is normally due for late arrival, no-show, early departure, missed transfer, voluntarily unused accommodation, skipped activity or any other service the client chooses not to use. We recommend insurance for cancellation, curtailment, illness, disruption and other covered events.

Cancellation by Mulah Adventures or suppliers

If we must cancel or materially change an arrangement because of safety, supplier failure, force majeure or another event outside reasonable control, we will offer available alternatives or recoverable refunds after deducting amounts already paid to suppliers and non-recoverable costs. Where a supplier cancels, its refund and rebooking rules may apply.

Refund process

Approved refunds are processed after the relevant supplier accounts are reconciled. Refunds are made to the original payer where practical. Bank, card, currency-conversion and transfer charges may be deducted where they are not recoverable. Processing time depends on suppliers and payment providers.

Insurance and advice

Clients should purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. Insurance may cover cancellation or curtailment reasons that this policy cannot. Clients should contact us promptly when an insured event occurs so we can provide invoices, confirmations or other reasonable supporting documents.

Policy clarification

If your quotation contains a cancellation schedule or special supplier condition, that document forms part of your booking and takes priority over this general policy. Please ask us to clarify any term before paying a deposit.

Please review the applicable quotation and supplier terms before paying a deposit. Mulah Adventures may update these pages when services or legal requirements change.
