This five-day itinerary is built around privacy and pace rather than covering ground. Two nights each in the Masai Mara and Amboseli allow time to settle into each camp, with a private vehicle throughout, sundowner drinks arranged at scenic viewpoints, and a private bush breakfast included as part of the Amboseli stay. Camps are selected for their smaller size, romantic settings and attentive service rather than sheer scale.
You are collected from your Nairobi hotel or the airport for the drive, or an optional scheduled flight, to the Masai Mara. On arrival you are welcomed at your camp with a light lunch, before an afternoon game drive that ends with sundowner drinks overlooking the plains as the sun sets.
A full day at your own pace, with morning and afternoon game drives in a private vehicle and a relaxed break at camp during the middle of the day. Your guide tailors the route around what you would like to see, whether that means following predators, watching the migration in season, or simply enjoying quiet time in the bush together.
After a final Mara game drive, you fly or drive to Amboseli, arriving in time for lunch at your camp. The afternoon includes a gentle game drive across the park's plains as Mount Kilimanjaro comes into view, followed by dinner at camp.
An early game drive is paused mid-morning for a private bush breakfast set up in a scenic spot away from other vehicles, with Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. The rest of the day continues at a relaxed pace, with time back at camp to enjoy its spa or pool facilities before an evening game drive and dinner under the stars.
A final relaxed morning at camp, with an optional short game drive, before transferring to the airstrip or road for your return to Nairobi and onward travel.
